SOP FOR EMERGENCY CALLS
WHEN TAKING AN EMERGENCY CALL THE FOLLOWING
INFORMATION SHOULD BE RECORDED
- Record the call sign.
- Establish nature of emergency.
- Establish correct address.
- Record detailed info in occurrence book.
ACTIONS TO BE TAKEN IN A SECURITY MATTER
- Call fc 34 nitrous to investigate.
- Put fc security team on standby.
- In case of house robbery, farm attack, deploy all fc members to observation points.
- Contact SAP.
- ACTIONS TO BE TAKEN IN CASE OF FIRE
- call one of the fire team members to investigate
- call the fire department
- Only fires on FC members’ properties will be attended to by FC fire team.
- ACTIONS TO BE TAKEN IN A MEDICAL EMERGENCY
- Call for an fc medical team to respond.
- call for an ambulance
ACTIONS TO BE TAKEN WITH TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS
- Report to traffic dept., sap, ambulance dept.
- Inform fc members by radio to take caution in that area.
