CAR BREAK-IN
The breaking into or theft from a motor vehicle, e.g. wheels, battery, etc, has unfortunately become common in our area, particularly from within business premises. In some instances recently no actual theft has occurred beyond the breaking-into the vehicle by smashing a window or forcing a door lock, etc. It has therefore been categorised separately. If the break-in to the vehicle is accompanied by theft, both of these may be entered in the incident report.
